I've gotten a few leads but no gigs just yet.

Too early to tell if it was worth the trouble... it might do better if I updated the Craigslist add more often.

Finding the right mix between generating revenue and not looking like an affiliate advertising sellout is a hard balance to strike.

I like the clean and simple layout.

Tom, this is a fantastic idea and one I'm looking forward to recreating for myself. An awful lot of the sales materials I have researched seem pushy, amateur or arrogant. This is is one of the only ideas I have come across that seems fun, personable and effective.

Kimberly: Any of the newer WP themes with custom menu options should help with site navigation, which should make a blog stickier.

I've also read that adding "related posts" links at the bottom of an article is very helpful.

I read your complete post on this subject and I'm in the same boat that you were as far as bounce rates go. I was wondering what WP themes you recommend to help with the problem of getting visitors to stay longer and visit more pages.

It takes a certain amount of old-fashioned luck -- asking the right person the right thing at the right time *and* being able to deliver, but at least it shows there's something to this Twitter thing besides media hype.

Great post, and I like how you outlined the steps you took to gain clients via Twitter. I've gotten some benefits from Twitter, but no direct cash yet.
